ACALL for tenders for the supply of 250 single-deck trolleybuses and the equipment for the installation of a trolleybus network has been made by Amdet, Montevideo, Uruguay. The closing date for submission of tenders is June 29
The trolieybuses required are twinaxled models suitable for 600 volts D.C. Seating capacity should be 40-45 and standing capacity about 30. Maximum length is 11 metres (36 ft. 1 in.) and width 2.45 metres (8 ft.).
