Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I JUST READ your comment piece “Do it with the lights on” (CM 18 August) – well done!

Steve Sutcliffe is a typical car journalist. Does he not realise that society would be worse off if we didn’t have trucks to deliver the goods? How does he think the roads are built, tarmac gets onto the road he drives on, and petrol gets to the illing stations to propel his (no doubt) rocket-propelled Ferrari? Or indeed how the Ferrari got to the dealer in the irst place?

I think you should throw out an invitation to him to spend a day at one of the industry’s leading transport logistics irms to see irst-hand the professionalism, eficiency and dedication that goes into providing the clothes on his back, the food on his table and his widescreen TV.

Who knows, if he happens to read this, perhaps he will see it to reply on his iPhone or iPad – no prizes for guessing how that was delivered!
