• On 27 September the Vehicle Inspectorate is having an open day at its headquarters and training centre in Bristol. During the day operators will be able to see a rolling programme of demonstrations and view the training centre.
LGV, PCV and light vehicle testing will be set up in separate rooms enabling operators to choose an area. Demonstrations of brake and smoke testing will be given and VI staff will be on hand to discuss any problems encountered by operators.
There is no charge for attending the day; proceedings kick off at 10.00hrs and include a fingerbuffet lunch. Operators wishing to attend should contact Jeanette Fordham on (0272) 5 4 3 288.
