"obsessed with trucks" wants a manufacturer to convert a cab to hand controls so that she can take her HGV I test.
"Our first thought was a Geartronic Volvo," says Richards. "All it would need is the accelerator and brake converting to hand controls."
Doughton recognises that she us unlikely to find work as a driver but still dreams of passing her HGV 1. She hopes one day to find some work with a haulier.
"She would be quite happy to do it for the publicity," says Richards. "If we could get her through it, it would be brilliant for disabled people."
