Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

We wish to convert a single. deck bus to a road-rail bus, anc would be pleased to know whether any of your readers could help us to obtain a suitable vehicle.

The Ro-rail bus was front engined with sufficient chassis-toroad height to permit the lowering of one set of wheels to replace the other. It found use in the 1930s taking passengers between their villages and the railway branch line, converting to rail use by dropping rail wheels in place of pneumatic tyres.

We have many villages bordering the railway without any form of public transport. The Ro-rail would fulfil a most useful function.
