A NEW insurance service to cover operators on the Continent is being marketed with the approval of the Coach and Independent Bus Sector of the Confederation of British Passenger Transport.
The policies are designed to cover passenger accommodation at £15 a night per passenger, with a maximum of E855 a trip, plus the costs of transporting parts and bringing the coach back to Britain if necessary.
Also covered is the cost of hiring alternative transport at up to £200 a day, for no more than three days.
