Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Mr Burgoyne in Commercial Motor of August 4 in connection with the RTITB.

I agree entirely with every word he says and think that it would be a good thing if more hauliers who were against this compulsory levy made their views known as publicly as possible. I have yet to meet a single haulier in favour of the RTITB.

On quite another topic, does it not seem strange that at a time when lorries are being obliged to smother themselves with reflectors etc, down the sides and across the back, under certain circumstances cars are being allowed to park without lights? I think that this is very dangerous and will continue to use my sidelights when parking.

S. MARSH, Woodlands Transport, Tunbridge Wells.
