At a meeting of the Ellesmere Port and Whitby Urban District Council the clerk related that he bad communicated with the Crosville Motorbus Co., Ltd., with a view to their issuing contract tickets on routes radiating from Ellesmere Port. The company replied that although they could not see their way to inaugurate a system of contracting on these bus services, they had under consideration a scheme for the issping of books of tickets, which, in effect, would be equivalent to weekly contracts.
