THE AVERAGE price of diesel oil per gallon in the UK during tember was £1.68. This represents an increase of 115 per ceni dery prices in December 1973 of 77 pence per gallon.
Prices in the Irish Republic during September were 1R£1.80 per gallon, an increase of 310 per cent on 1978 prices.
France suffered dery increases of 140 per cent when compared with 1978 prices, and West Germany 56 per cent. Italian dery has risen 261 per cent, slightly below Spain at 271 per cent. Portugal has witnessed a 360 per cent increase, while Austrian prices have risen by 65 per cent.
Belgium and Bulgaria have risen by 143 and 150 per cent res pectively, and Denmark and land by 202 and 107 per c Greece prices have risen by per cent, while Hungary pr have rocketed up 400 per cen Dery in Iraq has gone up per cent, while neighbou Iran has only increased price 4.1 per cent.
