• David Brown Gear Industries Ltd, Huddersfield, has agreed to acquire the Belgian power transmission company SAD! SA, which will be re-named David Brown-SAD!. The Brussels-based company manufactures reduction gearboxes, mechanical speed variators, couplings, and a variety of other products for the mechanical power transmission market.
