Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PM ONBOARD has launched an overload monitoring device, TruckWeigh, offering operators a lowweight, low-cost means of staying legal and optimising payload.

The device monitors the vehicle loading condition by measuring the axle deflection of the vehicle. It can be fitted to any vehicle whether riding on steel suspension, air or a combination of both.

TruckWeigh combines features of PM Onboard’s patented axle transducer technology, already employed in the company’s VanWeigh overload monitoring system and the digital indicator used on load cell-based underbody weighing systems.

PM Onboard MD Jon Jackson said: “With no moving parts, TruckWeigh isn’t susceptible to the wear or calibration problems we often see with other axle protection systems due to stretched springs.”
