What got you started in transport? My best friend and I both had uncles who drove for a living, we would get the chance to accompany them and I loved it.
What do you love/hate about it? I love the satisfaction of doing a good job and I also loved being out on the open road, until the mobile phone turned upl It can be a real team thing too.
What's your poison?
You can't beat a good mug of Yorkshire tea.
How do you relax?
Spending time with my family I don't do enough of that and watching my football team. Middlesbrough, which is not always as relaxing as it should be...
What was the last CD you bought? I think it was a Keane CD.
Where was your last holiday? Brittany; a beautiful place called Benodet St Gilles.

Does your heart belong North or South? North,
If you ruled the world, what's the first thing you would change? The state of our roads. Have you seen the M5 in August when you're trying to get to Newcuay?
Do you have any unfulfilled ambitions?
I have always wanted to learn to play the guitar, but never got round to it.
What makes you happiest in life? When everyone gees home riorri work in one piece and I can go home to my family satisfied a good job has been done, with Dire Straits on the CD and the sun shining. it can't be bettered
