Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Small components such as nuts and bolts which drop into inaccessible places can be retrieved with the Flexi-grip device introduced by Precitools.

The Flexi-grip has a springsteel close-wound outer casing which is completely flexible with an inner flexible cable. Overall length is 15in.

Fingers of hardened and tempered spring steel are attached to the end of the inner cable and when the tool is not in use they lie just outside the outer casing in the closed position.

Applying pressure on the operating knob of the Flexi-grip moves the inner cable down and the fingers open; they grip the object being retrieved when pressure is released. Opening capacity of the fingers allows pieces up to 0,62 5in. diameter to be picked up.

Made by: Precitools Ltd, 30 Heath Street, London NW3. Price: £1 5s.
