vehicle builders have been sanctioned by the U.K. Joint Wages Board. They come into effect in the first full pay week following May 18. The guaranteed minimum working week has been fixed at 34 hours and the minimum hourly rate for female employees has been determined at 2s. 9d.
The first two hours of overtime will be paid for at time-and-a-third, compared with time-and-a-quarter at present. and a week's notice to terminate employment must be given by either side.
