NOW is the time to begin your studies for the next Royal Society of Arts examinations for the Certificate of Professional Competence in either road haulage or public service vehicles.
CM/RTCC home-study packs iire available on special offer terms for the Goods National, Goods International and PSV National examinations. Eich pack is divided into sections in accordance with the RSA syllabus with self-assessment questions at the end of each section to enable students to check their progress through the course. There are also two mock examinations in each pack for students to submit to their course tutor for marking and assessment. 'fhe packs cover the entire syllabus, no additional reading matter. is necessary and no written work is required. .1-he RSA examinations, held kitir times a year in March, June, October and December, consist of' multiple-choice questions. CAti/RFCC students have ample practice at anseering this type of question which is used throughour the course in the self-assessment questions and the mock examinations, Each student is allocared to one of two very experienced course tutors (Eddie Pargeter and Frank Lewsey) who are always available to assist students with their courses, either by telephone (Witney 3481) or letter.
Every operator is required by law to have at least one CPC holder at each operating centre. It is important to have additional CPC holders in reserve to protect the operator's licence should the main CPC holder cease to he in fulltime employment.
