APIONEER of road passenger services in Lancashire,' Mr. A. Bolton, senior director of Ribblesdale Coachways, Ltd., Blackburn, has been elected chairman of the . national council of the Passenger Vehicle Operators Association.

The vice-chairmen for 1960-61 are Mr. W. D.odds (James Dodds and Sons, Ltd., Troon), Mr. E. A. Lainson (Premier Travel, Ltd., Cambridge) and Mr. J. T. Steel (Baddeley Bros., Ltd„ Holmfirth).
