R. G. RONALD PRYOR has been elected president of the Institution of Production Engineers for a second annual term. MR. HAROLD BURKE has been elected vicepresident. MR. R. •H. S. TURNER has been elected chairman of the council and MR. A. L. STUCHERY is vice-chairman.

MR. ERIC THOMPSON has been elected president of the Scottish Motor Trade Association for 1960-61. MR. A. A. 1-Lstaser has been elected retailer vicepresident. MR. A. J. Cm/mac immediate past president, and MR. R. ANDERSON have been co-opted as members of the council.

MR. H. L. HYDE has been appointed a director of the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. (Great Britain), Ltd. He replaces MR. P. E. H. LEROY, who has resigned. MR. J. L. MUMBY, who has been appointed secretary, is an alternate director and replaces MR. W. R. BOOTH who has resigned.
