Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Amongst the exhibits on this stand is to be noted one example of tractor construction, the Peterboro', which is made by Peter Brotherhood, Ltd. This is a four-wheeled machine, designed for general purposes, and it embodies an engine, specially designed by M. Ricardo, and capable of running most efficiently on paraffin as fuel. Instead of there being a direct connecting-rod coupling between piston and big-end, a crosshead intervenes, sliding in speeially prepared guides. This construction enables provision to be made for leading away any escaping paraffin, preventing its access to the crankcase, thus avoiding a common trouble with paraffinconsuming engines.
