• Mr A. B. Birnie, Scottish LA, opened a new office and classroom block on behalf of the Aberdeen Road Transport Instruction Centre (ARTIC), on Tuesday. The ceremony took place at the Group's hq, located at Bridge of Don Industrial Estate, near Aberdeen.

The building covers an area of 1800 sq ft and comprises two classrooms together with an office and other facilities. The building cost of £16,000 was provided by the group members. There is accommodation in each classroom for 15-20 trainees and courses will include hgv driving, management and clerical.
