• The new secretary of the Essex centre of the Lorry Driver of the Year competition is Mr T. Davies, group training officer to the RHA Essex Group Training Association, Station Approach, Kelvedon, Colchester, Essex. He replaces Mr E. Barber who continues as a committee member and is joined by Mr G. Cresswell and Mr R. Haddert, road safety officers at Harlow and Chigwell respectively. The committee has agreed to invite the three RHA sub-area chairmen in Essex to join them.
