KATHERINE OLIVER, wife of disgraced operator Stuart Oliver. has failed to turn up at an Edinburgh public inquiry which was due to discuss her application for an 0licence in her own right Stuart Oliver was one of the two partners in Hexham-based Wkham Martin Oliver & Partners; both partners were jaded in March for their part in a conspiracy to falsify tachograph records (CM 24 March).

Now Katherine Oliver has applied for a licence based in Scotland for 12 vehicles and 25 trailers in the name of Koos

Katherine Oliver had previously applied for 0-licences in the North Eastern and North

Western Traffic Areas in the name of Rev d° Logistics.

However, both these applications were refused. She appealed but both decisions were upheld by the Transport Tribunal.

Following the inquiry Scottish Traffic Commissioner Joan Aitken will issue a written decision on Katherine Oliver's licence application in her Traffic Area.
