Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DAYS OF one-eyed "Diddlers',. steam wagons and petroldriven lorries are recalled in the latest publication to exploit the seemingly ever-growing nostalgia market. Names such as Commer Pug, Thorneycroft Manly and Armstrong Saurer Samson are sure to evoke fond memories among those old enough to remember them and spark curiosity among those who are not.

Vintage Roadscene is published quarterly by Ian Allan in the belief that there is a future in nostalgia for commercial and public service vehicles of days gone by. Issue one (December 1984-February 1985) has recently come out with an interesting balance of features on subjects as diverse as London's trolleybuses (the Diddlers), the history of pre-war express parcels carrier Carter Paterson, and solid-tyred Scammell tractive units which were capable of hauling loads of 100 tons as long ago as 1929.

The features are liberally illustrated with contemporary photographs, many of them excellent.
