GERMAN proposals that the EEC's committee of permanent representatives should report on traffic bottlenecks in the community by January 1, 1980 were accepted by the Cpuncil of Transport Ministers in Brussels last week.

The agreement came on a proposal from the EEC commission that for a regulation on financial support for road projects within the community.

Council president, German transport minister Kurt Gscheidle said that the committee would be looking at the bottlenecks and ways to intervene in them with financial help.
