E4m-PLUS contract to distribute all Volkswagen and Audi parts to a dealer network throughout the UK, has been won by Dow ?.ight Services Ltd. The initial contract lasts for three years, and is e largest ever for the company.
The contract involves transporting all VW and Audi components )m the group company, VAG (United Kingdom) Ltd at Milton lynes, to its 360 dealers and a new site is to be opened by Dow at Iton Keynes to monitor the operation.
An extra 32 vehicles — 11 MAN drawbar outfits and MT and LT hter vehicles — and 60 extra staff will be needed to support the AN operation. A percentage of the National Carriers staff employed the contract until now will be taken on by Dow.
Dow already handles MAN-VW distribution and intends to run the .w contract from its depots at Stockport, Swindon, Milton Keynes, d Thirsk.
