Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The 75 single-deck buses ordered by London Transport from Marshall of Cambridge (Engineering) Ltd. (CM July 18) form part of a running order for 300 single-deckers to be delivered in 1970/71. This was confirmed by a London Transport spokesman this week, who added that the balance of 225 buses will have bodies built by Park Royal Vehicles Ltd.

All the above vehicles will be based on AEC Swift chassis (not Merlins as previously stated) and will have an overall length of 33ft 51n. They will be put into service in the central (red) bus area and will have divided front entrances and separate central exits. Passengers using the left-hand side of the entrance will pay the driver while the right-hand entrance will have automatic gates.
