for the brewery trade by Taskers of Andover, and already eight examples are in service with Strong and Co. of Romsey Ltd. The type is a step-frame 8-tonner designed to carry pallets of bottled beer and barrels from 4-5 to 36 galcapacity. The low main platform is just the right height for draymen handling heavy units; this, together with the manoeuvrability at awkwardly sited premises, has prompted Strong to turn to silica. The tractive unit Illustrated is a BMC.
