John King has taken over as chairman of Dennis Brothers Ltd.. Guildford, in succession to Alan R. Stewart, who has agreed to remain on the board as long as required. Mr. King is former chairman and managing director of Pollard Ball and Roller Co. Ltd. In a letter to shareholders Mr. Stewart reveals that the losses for the first half of the current year will be continued in the second: the concern will pay no dividends for the year to September 30 1969. D. A. Lloyd. a director of Herman Lines Ltd. and managing director of Ellerrnan and Bucknall Steamship Co. Ltd., has joined the board of Associated Container Transportation Ltd.
