The basis of the ear is the well-known Studebaker Big Six chassis and, ingeneral appearance, it resembles the makers' seven-seater sedan.

The Studebaker Big Six chassis is well known in, the private-ear world and embodies in its design many features Which are reflective of modern automobile progress. The six-cylinder engine, which is of the L-headed pattern, has a bore of 3 ins.. and a stroke of 5 ins. The dry-plate clutch and ,three-speed gearbox form a unit with the engine and through them the drive is conveyed to a semi-floating spiral-bevel type rear axle witli-Eotchkiss drive.
