Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Andy Levett won last weekend's Hungarian truck Grand Prix in his R B Racing learn Scania T143.

Class winners at the Hungaroring outside Budapest were Noel Crozier in the CAT Renault G290 (class A); Curt Goransson in the Volvo N12 (class B) and Richard Walker in the Century Oils Kenworth W900A Cummins-powered vee-eight, who shared class C with George Allen in the powerful Truck Align Volvo White Road Boss 2.

The Channel ferry dispute and illness kept several famous faces away, including Rod Chapman and Slim Borgudd, but the final itself was hotly contested.

Following a downpour just before the start of the race Frenchman Noel Crozier spun his Renault G290 on the first bend, leaving the rest of the grid to jumble through as best they could. Hungarian Janos Krasnai in a Hungarocanion Mercedes 1644 stole through the chaos to take an early lead, to the delight of the home crowd, but Leven was fighting his way up the rankings all the time with Richard Walker holding third place. By lap seven Levett had taken the lead and Walker second place.

Swiss Raphy Garret in an ancient Mack R 685 T drove the most entertaining race of the day, sliding sideways round every bend and snatching third place two laps from the flag.
