factory, will consist of an office block, oinery and repair departments in Separate buildings Consideration is also being given by the concern to the possibility of building a factory in " another distressed area in England."

Improved A.E.C. Facilities in Cardiff. From July 3 the existing A.E.C. service and spare parts depot at East Canal Wharf, Cardiff, will be closed and facilities will be available from a new Commercial Vehicle (Sales and Repairs) Ltd. depot at Penarth Road. To further improve service and spares efficiency, the management and many of the staff of the A.E.C. Cardiff depot will be transferred to the new depot. Telephone number is Cardiff 24871; Telex 49254. DX Bearing Material: Reference to a new bearing material is made in the annual statement by the chairman of the Glacier Metal Co. Ltd. He says: One new product, DX bearing material, has been brought to the stage of manufacture during the year and presentation to the market will start in the autumn. This is in addition to our range of composite non-metallic materials and has been developed to meet the need for bearings which continuously operate under conditions of boundary lubrication." A company spokesman told The Commercial Motor this week that no further details were available at present.
