Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A batch of curtainsiders, built by Southfields for Bristol haulier Peter Maughan Transport include some with a neat way of providing rigid security for losely packed goods.

Four Fleetloada semitrailers are equipped with slotin aluminium planks, similar to those used in TIR tilt bodies, fitting in vertical stanchions behind the curtains, 1.5m above the deck height.

They are used when carrying garden statuettes and other concrete products exported to Germany and other countries by Blagdon Water Products.

When not required, the panels stow away to leave clear access-for return loads of palletized goods.

The batch comprises 10, 16.5m step-frame semi-trailers plus two close-coupled drawbar outfits, all with Scania P93M prime movers, and a Mercedes 1314, 13-tonne rigid.

All will be used by Maughan on national distribution and export/import movements.
