• British Airways is revamping its airside fleet at Heathrow with nine Optare Deltas, which will replace smaller Leyland Nationals on passenger transfer work. The buses are the first to feature both perimeter seating and three entrance doors: a central offside exit joins the dual doorways on the nearside. The 40 perimeter seats leave room for 26 standing passengers, but there is no luggage space as the buses will be confined to apron work.
