• Lift-truck manufacturer Lansing Bagnall has a new managing director — Ian Williams. The appointment follows the promotion to deputy chairmen of John Allenby and Derrick Larkins, who have been joint managing directors since 1973.
Announcing the appointment, Lansing says the change is one of a series of new top management appointments which have taken place over the past three years, including marketing, product development and export posts, to face the challenge of the next decade.
