THE road transport section of the Dutch Department of Traffic is now constructing a new test facility for motor vehicles on land in a polder reclaimed from the Zuyderzee The Fl 5m (approx. £1.2m) project near Lelystad will have a main track up to 160km /h on the straight and will be used for steering, braking and roll tests on vehicles requiring type approval for use in the Netherlands.
