Hagglund, the Swedish hydraulic engineer, has released details of a new wheel motor which is available in the UK from ASH Components. The series 1155 has a nominal speed range up to 300 rpm with torque rating of 69 lb ft per 100 psi; and the series 3160 can operate up to 200 rpm with a torque rating of 273 lb ft per 100 psi. They are rated up to 5000 psi intermittent pressure.
The units are designed to incorporate 15in. and '20in. wheel rims of international standards.
