• The National Bus Company has made four new appointments to its Central Activities Group. Mr John A. Birks, traffic manager of United Counties Omnibus Co, becomes national travel manager, Midlands; Mr John K. Fisher, tm of Wallace Arnold Tours Ltd, fills the same post in the North East; and in the North West the appointment goes to Mr Michael Sedgley, at present deputy tin of Midland Red, who will also become gm of one of the NBC companies in the area. Mr. Kenneth H. Wellmann, gm of Black and White Motorways, becomes national travel manager, southwest.
