Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Lifting equipment manufacturer Somers Handling has introduced a range of three, four, five and seventonne column lifts with low-profile carriages.

Columns two and three of the new lifts can be used with an existing set of four to make a six-column lift. Lifting speeds have been increased by 30% and servicing can be carried out with the lifts in use.

Each column now has to be in the 'lift down position to trip a micro switch which allows the system to operate.
