Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

concept in tipping bodies and gear I would like to build a prototype based on a 1 6-ton-g.v.w. chassis. What provisions does a Licensing Authority make to allow such a vehicle to be tested, demonstrated and worked under a range of conditions wide enough to require the freedom of an A' licence?

AThe present situation is that an operator

using a goods vehicle for the test purposes you have in mind will have to apply for a short-term carrier's licence to operate it. . until operators' licensing begins on March 1, 1970. After that date a carrier's licence will no longer be required for the vehicle but anybody using it will need an operator's licence. If you are concerned with demonstrations given by your own company with yourself or any other person as driver, you will be able to operate under a trade licence, using trade plates.
