• G. Plant (Haulage Contractor) Ltd. of Macclesfield, was allowed to add five vehicles out of 16 which the company had wanted to add to its A licence, in Manchester last week. Mr. G. Newman, North Western deputy LA, said that he would grant five 5-ton vehicles out of the 12 asked for and refuse the four larger vehicles. There were 11 objectors to the application which was continued from September 24 (CM September 26) and November 28.
