• A haulage contractor, Reginald Church, 60. of The Croft Cranfield Road, Wootton, Beds, who refused as a matter of principle to pay in two instalments an RTITB levy of £65, is now paying this sum and county court costs at a rate of 10s a month.
A county court summons was issued against him when he refused to pay the levy and he told the Registrar that he could no longer afford to be "soakedby the Government. An order was then made for payment at the rate of £3 a month, but on financial grounds the court has now reduced the instalments to lOs a month.
