• HTS (Hilton Transport Services Ltd.), of London, SE7, the rapidly expanding independent transport and warehousing group, has purchased the transport business of W. Reeves and Son Ltd., of Manchester, for £165,000 in cash and shares.
Reeves operates 40 modern heavy articulated vehicles and has warehouses at Manchester and Southampton: it runs a regular trunking service between these two cities.
Mr. N. Reeves, managing director, will be joining the main HIS board and will be responsible for implementing the large development programme now in hand for the North.
