• With the opening last Monday of the Elm Freightliner depot at Trafford Park, Manchester, new services come into operation. In addition to providing a comprehensive service to the whole of South Wales. Trafford Park has new nightly services to Stockton-on-Tees and Newcastle upon Tyne.
The Manchester-Glasgow service operating from Longsight will transfer to Trafford Park in the New Year to allow Longsight to concentrate on developing the London container market.
