Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Northamptonshire police are appearing for witnesses to a crash on the A45 last Sunday morning when a white Budgens truck collided with a Volvo car, killing two teenage grls.

The car, which had broken down, was sitting at the side of the westbound carriageway less than a mile from Nene Valley services when the truck ploughed into the back.

The two sisters were killed and their mother was seriously injured.

The truck driver, who was driving from Wellingborough to the Cotswolds, was unharmed. A spokesman for Budgens said the truck had been checked and no mechanical faults had been found.

Police say they want to speak to the driver of a red Renault oar who may have witnessed the incident.
