Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IT’S NOT OFTEN that CM comes across a story that is this nuts – literally. Last week we received this shocking image of an LGV with all eight of its wheel studs sheered off on one wheel.

Vosa officers said they stopped the vehicle, which was carrying hazardous goods on the A494 in north Wales earlier this month, because of the “unusual way it was moving on the road”.

In fact, the only thing keeping the wheel on was the groove worn in to the hub.

Vosa area manager David Collings says: “This shockingly defective vehicle could have caused a very serious accident.”
