NEARLY 20 TRUCKS were drained of diesel in a fuel-syphoning raid on a Shropshire CV dealer last week.
The gang broke into the premises ofWest Pennine Trucks, on the Mile Oak Industrial Estate in Oswestry. They were disturbed and fled the scene, but not before they had taken fuel from 17 vehicles.
Manager Darren Counsell says the company's site is fully fenced and is covered by CCTV, "It's hard to see what more we can do but we think this was a gang that has been operating in the area for a while, so hopefully the police will catch someone soon," he adds.
