MIKE BROWN has become sales and marketing director of Wadham Stringer (Victory). He was previously field sales manager, before leaving the cornpany for a short time.

Midlands British Road Services' Oldbury branch will be missing the services of JOAN STEVENSON, senior traffic operator, who has retired after 45 years' service with the company. Mrs Stevenson was first employed by J. F. O'Neil Transport of Wednesbury.

HARRY MATTHEWS has become managing director of Texaco Ltd. He will be in charge of supply and transportation, marketing and refining. He was previously vice-president of Texaco Europe, and takes over from THOMAS COTTRELL, who has retired.

ROY WALKER has retired from the Kenning Motor Group after 47 years of service. Mr Walker was group commercial vehicle services manager, based at the company's Chesterfield head office. He became general manager at the Heavy Vehicle Repair Centre at Weaste in 1966, moving to Kenning Coachwork as manager in 1967. He took up his last post in 1969.
