Editor Will Shiers was in France with Michelin, while deputy legal editor Roger Brown drove up the M6 to visit Abbey Logistics Group in Liverpool and Arclid Transport in Sandbach. Technical reporter George Barrow was in Dusseldorf at a Mercedes-Benz Fuso Canter Hybrid event and was with leasing company CVS at a gala dinner raising money for HIV/AIDS education charities Temwa (Malawi) and Top Banana (Botswana). The fundraising total for the year reached £100,000 on Saturday night.
