Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A CATTLE TRUCK loaded with 5,000 litres of fuel caught on fire in Northern Ireland last week; now customs officers are asking for any information local residents have on fuel fraud and smuggling.

A spokeswoman for HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) says the fire, in Comber Road, Lisburn, caused "substantial environmental damage to this rural area with contamination in the surrounding fields and waterways". She adds that the fire is an example of what can happen with "a vehicle that is not constructed for the safe transport of flammable liquids".

Anybody with information about the incident is asked to ring the HMRC's confidential helpline on 0800 59 5000.

Customs officers are also launching a campaign across the UK next week to check vehicles for illegal use of red diesel.
