IRISH operators have won an eleventh-hour delay in the implementation of the tachograph regulations.

According to the Department of Labour in Dublin, difficulties have been encountered in fitting tachographs, and the European Commission has agreed to a delay in full implementation now to take effect on December 1, 1981.
