RAILWAY shareholders are joining in the cry for an impartial inquiry before the Government's proposals for the nationalization of inland transport are brought before Parliament.
On Monday the L.N.E.R. Stockholders' Association issued a statement in which such an inquiry was demanded. The Association also expressed strong approval of the counter-proposals to complete nationalization which have been put forward by the L.N.E.R. (reported on the next page), and asked the three other main-line railway companies to support them.
